WHAT THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT · SHARE OF BAD REVIEWS
Price and subscription57%

29 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Web based still works somewhat or I'd stop paying altogether but probably going to consider dropping the subscription.
★★★★★ Please give this for 1k per year
★★★★★ They updated their platform to a monthly service fee now and basically took away my access to the materials I had already paid for telling me there was nothing they could do and would not refund me.
Login and account problems10%

5 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Needs better interface and 2 device login
★★★★★ I have unsubscribed the app long back and they are still taking money from my account.
★★★★★ It keeps failing to verify the purchase so yet again Google to the rescue.
Wrong or poor results10%

5 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Useless until they get this fixed.
★★★★★ wasted my time. description should not be misleading and say that there is close to zero content for free. and the content, which may or may not be any good, is VERY expensive.
★★★★★ And without the labels the app is useless to me.
No customer support10%

5 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ I sent an email to the support team and waiting for help.
★★★★★ I paid over $100 in 2013 for access to the MSK and Neuro modules. They updated their platform to a monthly service fee now and basically took away my access to the materials I had already paid for telling me there was…
★★★★★ I've contacted them and still no response .
Bugs, things not working8%

4 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ This app used to be my go to for looking up anatomy on the fly but it's gotten so buggy and slow it's almost impossible to use even on my iPhone 17 pro.
★★★★★ Doesn't work after payment , I will change the review if it works
★★★★★ White screen for 1 min, then not working..not even seen the home page..need improvement in app
Limits, credits, locked features8%

4 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ You won't have to pay a yearly subscription.
★★★★★ Then found out after having paid a lot for all of previous modules the app is now time limited.
★★★★★ First of all, it says it's free but after wasting my precious time for downloading it, turns out that all features are locked till you do the purchase.
Lost data, sync, backup8%

4 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ The program wont let me do an iTunes restore and I need the anatomy information NOW!!
★★★★★ And YES these features are lost even after you "restore purchases".
★★★★★ You will lose access to 2 modules which were previously available and now require a PAID subscription.
Worse after an update8%

4 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ They updated their platform to a monthly service fee now and basically took away my access to the materials I had already paid for telling me there was nothing they could do and would not refund me.
★★★★★ I bought the three modules in an older version - however, Version 5 is the first time my access to those modules has been altered, so think twice before you update.
★★★★★ DO NOT UPDATE unless they fix this issue.
WHAT THEY ASK FOR
  • If I save an axial image, I want axial to load—without additional views or settings changing. 4★, Jan 5, 2026
  • Please give this for 1k per year 1★, Apr 27, 2024
  • Use great care - user interface is designed to have you unintentionally add a very expensive recurring subscription without purchase warning. 1★, Dec 21, 2017
  • Anyway, I would recommend it if you need a great radiology reference, which is what I think it's really intended for, and it's worth the money for that. 4★, Feb 8, 2013
  • I wish there was an option of a slower scroll on the iPad. 5★, Jul 23, 2012
  • Add a head and neck CT data set and this app would justify its large expense. 1★, Jul 3, 2012
  • At least once you are logged in, it doesn't require an active network connection, but I wish it would stay logged in on ios devices for longer periods of time. 5★, Apr 27, 2012
  • Great content, but needs to have the ability to access the content offline. 3★, Dec 10, 2011

Fast10%

★★★★★ Thank you for the quick response from the app team.
Easy to use9%

6 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ I think the product would benefit from a clearer “core workflow first” design: straightforward top-level navigation by modality and body region, with advanced tools available but not in the way.
★★★★★ It's comprehensive and extremely user friendly.
★★★★★ The app is easy to use and so informative!
Worth the money6%

4 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ Best neuroimaging anatomy resource, worth every penny!
★★★★★ I bought the entire thing, which was pricey (US$210) but that's about the same as one textbook, so it's worth it.
★★★★★ Sectional anatomy worth it but does not have female and male sections separately Would like to see more of CT anatomy also Over all very good
Looks great4%

3 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ I think the product would benefit from a clearer “core workflow first” design: straightforward top-level navigation by modality and body region, with advanced tools available but not in the way.
★★★★★ User interface & 3D reference system is pretty decent at par with standard PACS /Dicom softwares.
★★★★★ Beautiful images and diagrams that can be adjusted depending on how much anatomy you want to see.

Initially not signing in bug bug appears fixed

Initially kept having problems with not being able to view data and reports even though I paid for a subscription. I ended up signing out and signing back in and appears to fix it and I absolutely love this app now. For those experiencing this issue, I highly recommend signing in and out again because this app is definitely worth the cost.

Needs an overhaul

I’m a radiology resident, and I appreciate the depth of the platform and the work that’s gone into it, but in its current form it’s difficult to use efficiently day-to-day. Finding specific structures and getting a quick overview of anatomical relationships feels more cumbersome than it should. A recurring issue is that feature complexity seems to be prioritized over common workflows. For example, bookmarks don’t reliably restore the exact context I saved (modality, plane, slice, and view/window settings). If I save an axial image, I want axial to load—without additional views or settings changing. Small friction points like this add up and push me toward simpler tools that are faster and more predictable. I think the product would benefit from a clearer “core workflow first” design: straightforward top-level navigation by modality and body region, with advanced tools available but not in the way. More structured feedback from practicing radiologists and imaging experts would help ensure the feature set matches real clinical use, not just a visually impressive demo.
