The switch to a liquid glass style overlaying bottom button row blocks the access to the cookie preferences, effectivels forcing a user to accept them. This is both bad UI an a probable infringement of privacy laws in most countries.
I’m always surprised how the CNN App has grown on me and is now my No. 1 news source for international news that’s unbiased and neither right- nor left-wing, just factual, and I especially cherish its reporting on wildlife, nature, climate, since this is what matters most to me, and the articles on these issues are well researched and written - there are both stories and studies that influence my daily work which I wouldn’t have known if it wasn’t for CNN actually… But there’s something that drives me mad, and that’s that my “Saved Stories” on the Your CNN page doesn’t work and the whole page is frozen, and that has been happening for years now, on and off, through many updates, both of the CNN app and iOS - this needs to be fixed for good…! I need my CNN saved articles, and unfortunately, I didn’t save all of them twice in third-party apps, because I didn’t think I needed to…! Fix it and you get five stars from me.
Widget isn’t working anymore. Delete and reinstall doesn’t help. What happend?
Widget isn’t working anymore since last update.
I am very happy that there exists an information source like CNN and I enjoy using it. I have no complaints about it except one: I don’t get any notifications. I deleted and reinstalled it multiple times, I allow all cookies and push notifications and the app is always up to date. Everything is turned on yet I don’t receive anything. Is there maybe a bug in the app? Is it not compatible with iPhone X? I’d like to have suggestions what to do about this from the developer…
Amazing after about a year of issues with shorts and after numerous workarounds and updates it is nice to see that the iOS CNN app is now working properly, I had all but given up hope that this would be achieved.🤗🤗
