WHAT THEY ASK FOR
  • We all understand that free apps need advertising to survive. 1★, Aug 8, 2020
  • I can receive facts about my country, but it is bias to blacks (i am white) I wish I showed more afrikaner news (not just negative) I wish it wasn't bias. 4★, Feb 2, 2019
  • Enough to make me uninstall and find a news alternative app more sensitive to the readers needs as News24 has clearly moved toward ad based app designs. 1★, Jan 16, 2019
  • And also please stop been biased about your articles you allow comments and the articles that should allow open debate you lock down. 1★, Jul 7, 2017
  • Not bad just wish they can allow people to comment without having to log in with facebook 3★, Nov 29, 2013
  • It is working fine for my need and I can recomend it to other users! 5★, Jul 24, 2013
  • It would be great if the app didn't crash that often. 3★, Jan 14, 2013

Dreadful

I renewed my subscription and paid but some reason every time I opened the App, it told me to subscribe. When I clicked subscribe it told me I was already subscribed. The support was completely useless. I have abandoned all attempts to try and resolve this.

★★★★★Nov 20, 2025
Latest “feature” is irritating

Since the last update, closing a news article shoots the home page back up to the featured/newest article, requiring a reader to scroll back down to where they were last opening articles.

★★★★★Sep 8, 2024
Stick to the browser

Terrible app. External links only open in the in-app browser which is broken. Often I cannot exit an article once I’ve opened it. You cannot open YouTube links at all.

★★★★★Jul 1, 2024
Too expensive

I’m deleting this app. There’s zero news unless you pay a subscription. The same news can be viewed for free on either the apps: IOl, EWN, SABC, etc.
