Service newly degraded over VPN

Boo-Hiss on the latest version of the Bloomberg Prifessional app: 6.67.0. The new app often won't load stories when one clicks into them, bleating about a "network error" as its excuse, but really because the service is being accessed through a VPN. Bloomberg is the only news source I pay for and I expect for my money to not be tracked in what I read. Previous versions of the Bloomberg app only forced one to choose whether to accept or reject cookies. When one chooses to reject said cookies the old versions attempted to force "your cookie choices" down one's throat with each new session. This was an acceptable detante as one had an opportunity to tell the overly gropey Bloomberg app developers where to shove it each and every day. This new version is far worse and far from being a game-changer is in fact a game-ender.

By far the most clunky news app i use. Articles I want frequently do not load, and articles i do NOT want load automatically and start playing loud obnoxious intros at high volume.

Great content, awful ux

Love the content on bloomberg, but the app is a discoverability mess. Hard to navigate and get to what you’re actually looking for. Most annoyingly, at least today, it appears the iphone app has a “Your News” tab making it easy to see the news I care about, but ipad does not. Frustrating.

mostly good

sometimes clicking a notification doesn’t open the article. i’ve noticed this only occurs when there’s an interruption in internet connection. besides that, works as intended. though still seeing ads despite paying a subscription is annoying.
