Bored. Not Rewarding.

It was interesting - emphasis on "was." It's too clunky, too colorful (which might be okay for others), and far too confusing. It rewards you very little in the long run, and as many users have pointed out, the income you start getting once you have a 'couple apartments' or higher — is basically peanuts compared to the cost of the upgrades you need. That means you end up waiting anywhere from 24-72 hours, while checking in every four hours, just to collect enough money to make any meaningful upgrade. That means opening the game every day, every 4 hours was just to remind you that you haven’t gotten enough money. And for someone who just wants to relax after work every day - not keep waiting, waiting, waiting and feeling anxious about checking the game - it honestly becomes a waste of time. It also gives you an obnoxiously high level of anxiety over all those notification badges sitting on the menus. It's like having unwanted unread messages sitting in your Messages app - you don't want to open them, but seeing the badges bothers you, so normally you'd just hide them. But here, you can’t.

The game randomly won’t open.

Went to play & it won’t open at all. The “Shimmer Games” logo & animation pops up then it goes to the light blue screen with the game name on it. The loading bar pops up at 0% for a second then a “Quick Login” button pops up. When I go to click it every time; the loading bar pops up again at 0% for a second then disappears. Doesn’t load at all which is very disappointing & feels like a waste of time considering how far I’ve gotten in the game.
