This is a waste of time and money, and literally the worst app I have ever seen in my life!

I bought a lifetime membership and they’re still trying to charge weekly rates too. This app is subpar at best. My Nepalese husband says it’s wrong a lot.My husband is a native Nepali and we’ve discovered some information is incorrect. Also, the sounds are wonky and some letters have the same sound. It says the sound is “ah” like the “u” sound in “but” and if that were correct than it would be “uh” or the word is like “b(a)ll” so it’s nonsensical. Also, it’ll tell you how to ask someone how they are but not how to answer if they ask you. I guess I should’ve shopped around more before paying for a lifelong app ; It’s unfortunate

Pay

You have to pay to upgrade to learn anything, but you can’t select the cheapest option because that just “removes the ads” (it doesn’t actually) AND it doesn’t even allow you to select any of the learning options. So then you have to pay to upgrade AGAIN.

Needs improvement

The app is filled with content and a variety of ways to learn the language. One problem with the app is when trying to learn a new nepali word, there is a button to hear it. But for some reason the voice that pronounces the words is a bot trying to read English. The pronunciation of Nepali words is completely useless. The UI of the app can feel cramped. Some icons are too small to click on. And when we have to drag and drop something, my finger completely blocks it so I can’t read what I am holding. This app doesn’t need much work to be well done, just wish the devs would put more time into the UX.

Inappropriate voice

When you want to hear a word, it will deliver you a computer voice with incorrect pronunciation. That's really frustrating. I love Nepal, but don’t like this app. Plus, the ad showing frequency is iirritating.

These bring related lessons together so you can study a useful topic. LISTEN AND REVIEW Listen to bundled recordings with two voice options, Aanya and Arjun. Adjust playback speed and repeat words or phrases while you practice. The lesson text and bundled recordings work offline after installation. Purchases, ads and sending support messages require an internet connection. PUT YOUR RECALL TO WORK Review with flashcards, answer multiple-choice and true-or-false questions, match words with their meanings, and type answers in writing exercises. Revisit words that need more practice and check your exercise results. MAKE STUDYING PERSONAL Save favorite words and phrases for quick review. Follow your learning progress, record daily check-ins and set study reminders with notification permission. Choose a theme and learning appearance that suits you. KEEP A COPY OF YOUR PROGRESS Use manual Backup & Restore to export your favorites, progress, exercise history and included preferences to a file. Import a compatible backup when you need it.
