I was looking for a nice flow chart maker for my D&D game to help keep something organized a little better, didn’t even get halfway through the chart and every time I try to adjust or add something I get a pop up for the subscription service and I can’t continue I was initially impressed by the high rating and good reviews, but I am now thoroughly unimpressed by the inability to complete a single chart without REQUIRING your subscription service
There’s no way to add text to the connections between nodes, making it a non-starter as a flow-chart creator

I used to be an avid user of MindMeister, and Mindjet before that. Both programs took turns for the worst when it came to fluid mind mapping, making the process rigid and creatively stifling. After 30 seconds of using this app, I felt the return of what those other apps lost the plot on. There are some features I miss from other mind mapping apps, and would love to see in future versions of this, but it’s off to a great start. The main feature request i’d love to see taken up is the ability to collapse and expand nodes.
Ridiculous.
If the map gets too crowded, it shuts down and has to reopen again. Major issues with saving. I just spent the last hour remapping my original map just to have it shut down out of nowhere only to reopen with none of my work saved AND expanded. There needs to be a “save” feature to prevent this. Super frustrating. Would be great if the maps would auto collapse instead staying open. Or at least have it save the last way we had it instead of reopening with ALL of the maps expanded. Outside of these issues, it’s super easy to use and figure out, but I’m about to try another mapping app since this one’s save features are incredibly frustrating.
