Absolutely terribleI updated to V2 and got everything working then 4 ceiling lights don’t connect and can’t get them connected. Such a waste of my time. Very frustrating and annoying. This never happened with the first version.

Pretty GoodI give it a 4.5 out of 5. There are a few things I wish had deeper control or were easier to figure out. But it’s much better than the large majority of LED product apps I’ve got.

Can’t get a connection to any of my lights anymoreThis app and the bulbs worked great for about two years, then one day they just stopped connecting.
I’m assuming an update was pushed and I think those of us with slightly older light bulbs are now out of luck.
I used to have the app on my iPad as well as my android phone and unfortunately the problem is with both apps.
It sucks because I have 5 of these light bulbs.
I definitely won’t be buying any more from this brand.

Overall GoodLove the ability to switch colors but do have connective issues often. The automation schedules don’t generally work the first day if I set it during the period they are supposed to be turned on. Also wish grouping and setting presets was more dynamic

please being back brightness percentages- instead of the second guess slider. I need to see what percentage I’m setting the lights at before I set it- not after.
It seems the only way to see it is after the fact- that’s not exactly helpful.

Grid view is wonderful addition to this already great app. Every room I have has the WiZ lights and being a large house, it’s now easy to see all the lights on the screen.
If you use large font on iOS - make sure to make it a little smaller just for this app. Gracias for grid view!

I upgraded to the latest version 1.3.0 about 3 weeks back. The migration was smooth, all my lights, rooms, all my custom automations, Siri Shortcuts, and wiz click settings ( AKA favorite modes) migrated, too. After 3 weeks I can say I understand the new configuration of the app. Yes, took some getting used to - in the learning phase I used the previous app. New features I noticed are the big W where you create quick actions to quickly apply to one or all your lights. It's fun! And folders to keep them orderly. One click - BOOM * 💥 Custom color by utilizing HEX code - ME ENCANTA (I love it ) And you can save your custom colors by clicking the little white heart 🤍 I like the quick control panel right there with the ability to apply a scene right next to it, with the favorite modes there, too. The slide to the next room, I love it, too. It's easy. Everything you need to know is right there. If you don't know, the chat is built in and the notifications work! You get notified when WiZ replies. That didn't happen in the previous app (which is awesome, too) Not sure why so many giving this the low rating - change is good. 5 SOLID stars. WiZ customer service chat ppl are awesome, too. Props! Developers really did a solid job here as with the previous version. If you know anything about tech + code, you can appreciate the time and effort that goes into building an app - especially one that controls lights.

Difficult to useI have been a long time app user of these lights. They made a new app to control them that makes it 10x more convoluted to turn the lights on the brightness and color you actually want them. Can only change the brightness on certain settings. Functionality only works on a 2.4 ghz connection so at least it’s not taking my bandwidth but it was a NIGHTMARE to set up. The bulbs are great - same one I have used for years! The app is terrible. I wish I could go back to version 1.
