HOW SURE ARE WE
Calibrated range: for apps in the top 50, our estimates were within about 30% of published figures for 9 of 12 apps tested. Countries we don't track (and Google Play in China, which doesn't exist) aren't included, and neither are ads or web payments. Gross revenue before store fees.

WHAT THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT · SHARE OF BAD REVIEWS
Price and subscription39%

28 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ This app doesn't provide any kind of redress when their customers are shortchanged. They should be boycotted and driven from business.
★★★★★ Solicito o cancelamento imediato da minha assinatura e o estorno integral dos valores cobrados indevidamente.
★★★★★ You can't cancel a subscription through the app!
Limits, credits, locked features11%

8 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ So much for all free chapters when you have to pay after the promo
★★★★★ Don't let the ad fool u. Says read for free but that's a lie. Unless u can earn tons of coins which is impossible. Not worth the download.
★★★★★ A cheap tawdry book that has 7-10 chapters is chopped up into hundreds of micro chapters that take minutes to read for no reason but to try to force people to buy coins or chapters or something, because even when you…
Too many ads4%

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ I wasn't going to download this reading app, but after seeing several ads stating that all chapters are free, I decided to give it a try.
★★★★★ We should be able to unlock chapters using ads
★★★★★ Also 3 long ads to watch without paying is ridiculous.
Login and account problems4%

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ If your sign up for anything it's in Chinese and again there is NO WAY to cancel!
★★★★★ The only way to read is if you buy coins at rip off price or watch terrible adds that once you watch them do not account for for even one chapter
No customer support4%

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Meanwhile there's always some friend or step family situation, her mother is dead and her father for some reason doesn't care about his daughter's abuse, it's always about some company merger, or a werewolf alliance,…
★★★★★ I have tried repeatedly to communicate with AlphaNovel and every avenue is closed to me because the customer support email is not available.
★★★★★ If I could give this a zero I would. Trying to cancel a subscription It's nearly impossible. I've been trying for 3 months and now I'm going to have to cancel my card because of this. Their email is invalid
Missing features4%

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ If your sign up for anything it's in Chinese and again there is NO WAY to cancel!

Cobrança indevida

Fiz uma compra, debitaram 3 vezes. Nao consigo estorno. Um absurdo e abusivo. Nao baixem.

★★★★★Oct 19, 2026
Disguised Under Duplicity

What was initial intrigue in the plot became disguised as duplicity when I had to reread 20+ chapters. What is this?? The story line is becoming more telling & therefore slower, with no reference to earlier relevant scenes. It doesn’t seem the ‘twisted’ plot; rather, a plot of broken parts not well pieced together …yet ???

So much for all free chapters when you have to pay after the promo
