Look, the developer is mostly correct in their description. But for what you do get, it’s very very expensive. There’s very little customization aside from colour and the grid is very wonky with no option to turn that off. Colours are unrealistic and limiting for those who like realism, and I regret this purchase immediately
I bought the game and honestly it’s really fun and easy to learn. The only thing that I would personally add would be different types of materials for the buildings not just the different colours and maybe adding citizens that roam the streets and enter the houses and sit on benches to make the city more vibrant. The game itself is good but the atmosphere seems a little boring and I guess bland if you get what im saying. I don’t know how big your team of developers are but maybe adding some sort of multiplayer town that I can build with friends? Just an idea. 10 out of 10 game tho.
I feel like the people making this game should listen to us a bit more. It’s great but super simplistic, which is really nice actually, but I think you could do a hit better. Like someone said different architecture styles which I think would be cool, I think you should also be able to specifically put down grass or bushes and trees, and maybe have different types of houses, like some are shops and such
Very fun I bought both the iPad and PC versions. It's a brilliant and inspired game. It would be cool if, as you build it, citizens start popping up, launching cute boats, setting up food carts, taking pets for a walk, playing hopscotch.... You get the picture.... Then if you could jump into one of those characters and walk around, exploring the town. The only problem is, how could I give you more stars?

It’s definitely a cute little toy to play with in idle moments. And they did a beautiful job with some design elements, like I really love that you can play with the lighting and view your scene in everything from full sunlight to after dark with all the little houselights on. However, I don’t feel it delivers much value for the price. If it were $3 I probably wouldn’t mind having paid for it, even if only to find out whether I liked it or not. But for more than twice that, I would have hoped there was a little bit more to do. There’s only one type of structure; the only thing you can choose is wall colour; there’s no editing tool aside from “undo;” the build area is quite limited... there’s just so very little to work with. tldr: If they developed this app a little further and just gave us a bit more to muck about with, it could be worth it! But imo, the current iteration is not worth spending $7 to play with. Unless you can afford to be careless with money, in which case you might as well check it out if you’re interested!
