It’s been a while since the last update. But the update for macOS 27 restored the swipe functionality! The dev didn’t have to do this, so I would just like to express my gratitude, and I hope this amazing app continues to work for years to come.
Loyal user since 2011. Swipe has been broken for at least a year now. Is it dead?

I love this version, not the new version. The only thing that I would like to see is an update for Tahoe / Liquid Glass. Otherwise perfect.
I’ve been using Reeder for my RSS reader of choice on all of my supported apple devices since Reeder 1 beta. It’s my favorite for its clean look which is easy on the eyes and for its ability to triage very quickly. I absolutely DO NOT LIKE the new Reeder which is more of a social media timeline tracker where you dip your toe in when you want. That just feeds doomscrolling addiction and is bad for humans for a variety of reasons. /It’s also easy to miss critical news in that stream of media./ Anyway, back to Reeder Classic. One thing that is missing is keyword muting (as one reviewer mentioned). With the never ending political dumpster fire going on in the US now it would be great to still catch news from reliable centered sources without reading the latest from the US’s incompetent and selfish government. I realize this is probably a function of some of the RSS backends that can be used but since iCloud syncing is supported, that effectively makes Reeder a backend as well. That would make this a 5 star app. I big thank you to Silvio for keeping Reeder Classic alive. I will absolutely pay again if that keeps him developing it alongside his new Reeder project. Please do not kill it. It’s fantastic for those that use it and nothing else comes close to the usability, triage, and clean look that Reeder Classic provides. /At least/ open source it if you can’t put anymore time into it.
