★★★★★ What's the point of a monthly subscription if you still have to pay for each chapter???
★★★★★ I don't want to be limited on enjoyment.
★★★★★ I tried to give this app a try but i can, more than half of the manga I was reading a few years ago isn't even on this app and not to mention I have to pay to read chapters which wouldn't be a problem if I had to pay…

★★★★★ if i could read with without having to spend 8 hours watching ads all day every day, just to unlock one chapter a week.
★★★★★ Background Ads: INKR Extra promises no ads, yet I have caught the app playing ads in the background while opening chapters on several occasions.

9 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ i would click to edit an old email or change anything having to do with my account, and the app would freeze.

★★★★★ The app slows, freezes and crashes fairly often (iPad pro on latest update), sometimes less than a minute after fully rebooting the iPad and launching the app.
★★★★★ I did not mind buying coins and stuff to read but now it has gotten way more expensive! It used to be only 5 coins to read certain chapter but it has been bumped up to 16 and that is very ridiculous. I have the monthly…

★★★★★ one bug that i contacted support about is for my account.
★★★★★ I sent in a customer service ticket about a manga having a flawed upload (1 page instead of the whole volume) and it still has not been fixed almost a month later.

WHAT THEY LOVE · SHARE OF GOOD REVIEWS
Worth the money16%

9 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ Guess it's good I came for a free story, but I also want to look at others, if I could just get some ink.
★★★★★ I appreciate that Inkr also tries to make it affordable in their own way via subscription, which I jave not seen in other similar apps.
★★★★★ I tried the trail and I was so happy to be able to read manga for free but recently it finished so now I have to use passes.
Looks great15%

8 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ The UI is beautiful but make it like manga rock where it shows what chapter and volume I'm on, instead of that dumb scroll bar make it where we can press a grid button and see the pages like on manga rock
★★★★★ I could go on and on about the amazing user interface, the great comic selection, the lack of loading times.
★★★★★ Manga rock was probably the best manga app of its time, not only did it have an amazing selection but it had great app design.
Easy to use9%

5 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ And I like how I can still read a lot if books using Inks, and it's so easy to get some Inks, I really like this app, some app it usually needs to wait everyday and get some coins or something like that to unlock a…
★★★★★ The way you get ink is very easy but you usually get like 10 for an ad and 80 for a challenge.
★★★★★ App is fairly easy to navigate although, I'd like to see more ways to search for certain genres and maybe a way to request if the INKR devs could get new titles to be added to the app.
Fun, addictive9%

5 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ I feel like learning to read another language through a fun medium like manga/manhua would be interesting.
★★★★★ The best thing about INKR is that it accurately recommends new comics for you to read that you actually enjoy!
★★★★★ If you compare it to mangarock you will obviously find faults but I enjoy that it now includes western style comics and variety of stories.
Great support9%

5 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ The company behind manga rock switched their services to a pay model in order to support manga developers and hopefully begin to curate more content.
★★★★★ I had a problem with the app a few months ago where I couldn't find certain genres, probably bc the app didn't have enough content for those genres and I contacted the support team..
★★★★★ It allows more opportunity and makes it less likely that people will go back to scanlations, which give us ads anyway but don't support the creators.

Was a solid manga app as manga rock

Most people used it back then, it did a crunchyroll type shift to being legal but never picked up any non indie series, now owned by globalcomix which does this better

Where is my ink?

I’ve been a paid member for YEARS. Every time I go to get my free ink on the weekends, I keep getting an error code. Seeing comments that date back to January 2026 and it still hasn’t been fixed makes me want to stop giving you money! Why should I pay you monthly for a service you don’t can’t or won’t provide! Fix it, give me my ink, or refund me my monthly payment from when this problem started to present and beyond until it’s fixed! I am sick and tired of companies thinking they can take advantage of people and we’ll just sit back and take it!

Wont let me collect new account gift

I found a manhwa i really wanted to read and it was on their app so i downloaded it when i saw they give a free account gift of 2,500 ink to rent chapters. Once i downloaded it and input all my info I went to collect the gift but it repeatedly shows me an error message. Ive signed out and back in verified my email but nothing worked. Annoyed but still wanting to read i accepted an offer in the app to watch 2 ads and get 50 inks, after watching the ads all the way through i did not receive my ink like promised, i was again offered the same deal thinking last time was a bug and surely this time it’ll work. Spoiler alert I still did not receive any ink for watching now four ads.

★★★★★Jan 14, 2026
Has potential but buggy

There’s a lot of good manga available on the app, and potentially at a really good price if a member. But the app is so buggy that it disconnects often on iOS. When you’re trying to claim your daily or weekly currency it won’t work more than half the time because it ‘cannot connect’ to claim it for your account, which means you lose money… Sometimes it will work if you keep opening/closing the app to refresh it, but I’ve tried multiple times daily the past 4 days to try to claim my weekly currency (which is 100 in app coins, a lot!) and it still has not worked for me… this has been an ongoing issue for months at this point for the small claims, first for the big on for me… So yeah, if the devs would fix all the connection issues in the app it would be good, but for now it’s too buggy for iOS to be worth the membership.
