Disappointing Experience with ShutEye and Apple’s Refund Policy

I signed up for ShutEye believing there was a 7-day free trial and intended to try the app before committing to an annual subscription. Instead, I was charged for an entire year. I noticed the charge within two days and promptly requested a refund through Apple, but my request was ultimately denied. I find this extremely frustrating. I never intended to purchase an annual subscription, and I acted quickly once I realized I had been charged. Being forced to pay for a full year when I barely had any time to use the service feels unfair. I’m disappointed that no exception was made in this situation. This experience has seriously affected my trust in subscription services and the refund process. I strongly encourage anyone considering ShutEye to carefully review the trial terms and billing details before signing up, so they don’t end up in the same situation.

Charged immediately. No free trial.

I wish I was able to try this but instead I was charged immediately and they refused to refund my purchase. Gave me long instructions that I had to go through Apple to request this saying that they could not find a record of my subscription even though they charged my card within five minutes of signing up for the free trial. Beware!

False Advertising

I filled out the questionnaire in the beginning and it then forces you to pay to continue using there is no "free options" like they said it's either you do the free trial and then pay or nothing. They need to be upfront from the very beginning that you need to pay to use this app. They completely wasted my time.

Nothing like the rain or a bedtime story to help you fall asleep. Oh, and then track your sleep! If you talk in your sleep or you break wind it's gonna tell you 🙃 and then YES it will in fact wake you up as well.
