★★★★★ I wouldn't recommend spending your money on it.
★★★★★ I will not be renewing my subscription.
★★★★★ I was charged the annual amount for the 3-Day Trial.
40 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.
★★★★★ Used to be one of my favorites, now the constant, unskippable, obnoxiouly loud full-screen ads have spolied things.
★★★★★ The core functionality will take you many more clicks than needed as the developer pushes you pay and view ads and grant global permissions to all your photos.
★★★★★ This app used to be easy but now drives the user through advertisements, tries to upsell and generally makes it an annoyance.
27 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.
★★★★★ I do it just doesn't work.
★★★★★ Please fix the bugs in it
★★★★★ This app doesn't even function. It pretends to analyze plant images, then displays full screen advertisements without any option to exit or navigate. The developer wants to force you to click on ads before you…

★★★★★ The plant identification is wrong far too often to be reliable.
★★★★★ I went around my yard and snapped 14fruit trees and a goji berry. The only ones it got right were the mango and the pomegranate.
★★★★★ Several which were wrong.

★★★★★ The app works well EXCEPT for the data synch function.
★★★★★ Since purchasing subscription sync will not work & support has been unresponsive.
★★★★★ Also deleted it and reinstalled it.

★★★★★ Searches say there is a free version but I can't navigate past the page that wants my credit card.
★★★★★ You have to pay to see if your plant is sick and the cure for it!This made my plants get sick and unhealthy.
★★★★★ But, it's only free for 3 days and then you have to pay.

★★★★★ I was charged for premium and see no way to back out of it.
★★★★★ Ads take up the entire screen with no way to exit.
★★★★★ Tried to use this but each time an ad would pull up and there's no way to close them.

★★★★★ Helpful in identifying most of my plants.
★★★★★ This has been so helpful in me new region!
★★★★★ It truly helps to identify plants!
23 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.
★★★★★ I love it. It works in leaves and bark and flowers. 20% of the time it offers up different results when you snap the flower vs bark vs leaves. For a “fun” gardener, it's great
★★★★★ It's pretty accurate and has saved me from ripping up what I thought were weeds.
★★★★★ No fooling around here - easy and accurate!

★★★★★ Use often outside new growth:)
★★★★★ Easy to use, quick identification of any plant, detailed care information at my fingers.
★★★★★ No fooling around here - easy and accurate!

★★★★★ For a “fun” gardener, it's great
★★★★★ I love this app and used it all the time! My only complaint is how insistent they are to upgrade to a paid tier. I get why, it's just annoying.
★★★★★ Use often outside new growth:)
10 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.
★★★★★ It is free and easy to use.
★★★★★ I was looking for hours on end for a plant identification app that doesnt charge you to use it, And FINALLY i found this app, its free and always 100% with their answers
★★★★★ No other app I have ever tried has worked with anywhere near the same ability as LeafSnap, and it is a FREE app that has performed better than even paid apps.

The plant identification is wrong far too often to be reliable. Even when the app identifies that something is wrong with a plant, it basically just tells you there’s a problem without giving useful information about what to do next. That doesn’t help when you’re actually trying to care for your plants. For a paid app, I expected much better identification and practical plant-care guidance. I wouldn’t recommend spending your money on it. TRASH
This app use to be the best app for tree id. Now this thing can’t tell you the most basic tree even if it has given you the id in the past. I will not be renewing my subscription. Waste of money now.
I was charged the annual amount for the 3-Day Trial. I emailed them immediately after it happened and no one responded. I did use the app and was very unimpressed. Do not recommend.
They re-upped my year-long subscription, but I cannot download or use the app. I originally downloaded it on my old Motorola. I now have an iPhone, and the app will not work. I’ve tried over and over to contact someone for help. It’s completely impossible to get thru to anyone. $30 down the drain!!
