WHAT THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT · SHARE OF BAD REVIEWS
Slow, laggy, battery20%

5 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Even though this app doesn't require a subscription to learn, the lessons are super slow and the app can't hear you half the time.
★★★★★ The teaching style is boring and slow paced
★★★★★ This app is great because it gives you sort of feedback and lets you listen to it but it's literally like just text messages that come through not like an actual lesson so it's kind of lame and it moves extremely slow…
Wrong or poor results12%

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ It doesn't differentiate notes well
★★★★★ Worst app ever y'all are the most stupidest person in the universe it said could not hear or hmm maybe you are doing it wrong
★★★★★ This is the most basic, and time consuming app I have tried. Unless you have literally never held a guitar, this will bore you.
Crashes and freezes8%

2 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ The app was so slow, it wouldn't let me play on my own, and kept freezing up.
★★★★★ I have everything completed in lesson 1 and I have completed everything before lesson 1. I cannot get to lesson 2 nor are there any options to move forward to lesson 2.
Bugs, things not working8%

2 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ i really love the app but whenever i go to play the next thing, it won't recognize me playing the right note and won't show anything even though it said i only played to right note once, even though i played the same…
Limits, credits, locked features8%

2 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ First few leasons are good but after that it tells you to go to chordify Wich u have to pay for ,I'm twelve and I needed a free guitar app hope.
★★★★★ Is there something I have to pay for?
WHAT THEY ASK FOR
  • When I saw the app i thought it would be cool but now I think it is bad because every time you go on there it wastes your time saying what we're doing. 3★, Nov 24, 2025

This is really bad doesn’t even work

★★★★★Jun 10, 2026
Review

No paywall and it’s a great teacher for for beginner intermediate and those who can play whole songs

★★★★★Mar 22, 2026
Pacing

I don’t like that there is a timer on the lessons. Especially when you’re a beginner, it makes you rush things instead of taking the time to properly read the text or play the right note. Let us go at our own pace! No need for a timer.

★★★★★Mar 12, 2026
Good

I like this app but i thought it would be be more of a video of the guitar and the teacher because that way is a little more helpful

★★★★★Feb 27, 2026
App is rage baiting me

I followed the apps instruction to the best of my ability and it kept cutting me off telling me I wasn’t doing it correctly.
