HOW SURE ARE WE
Not in any grossing chart, so this comes from ratings growth (24 new ratings a month on average since launch): revenue grows with new ratings, more slowly for apps that collect ratings fast. Tested on 418 apps with verified revenue: typically off by about 2 times, and big earners tend to come out low. Countries we don't track (and Google Play in China, which doesn't exist) aren't included, and neither are ads or web payments. Gross revenue before store fees.

Bugs, things not working26%

6 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ It picks up wrong counties and also when I click on 3 dots at the top nothing happens so it's not working.
★★★★★ Keep finding photos forever and not working.
★★★★★ Love the concept but can't get my photos to save

★★★★★ Waste of money if you want to uae it on the iPad.
★★★★★ It's a cool idea but I refuse to pay money to use an app where there's no log in or other option to save all your work.
Wrong or poor results13%

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ It picks up wrong counties and also when I click on 3 dots at the top nothing happens so it's not working.
★★★★★ It basically only scans your “Recents” folder. I have 70,000 photos synced from my computer and this didn't include any of them. So it shows I've only been to 2 states when in fact I've been to 30+ and several countries.
Missing features13%

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Super cool app and love the UI but it is disappointing that parts of the world (such as all of the carribean) is not on here. Also there are a couple instances they have a location of “not visited” even though it's…
★★★★★ but i dodnt know how to check out or proceed the process looks like no option.
★★★★★ Is there a setting I am missing?

WHAT THEY ASK FOR
  • Would be nice if it showed the whole world the Caribbean not on there 4★, Oct 27, 2025
  • I wish the other maps were free 5★, Apr 29, 2025
  • The only thing I want to know is how to add more pictures in to a country space because some countries are not designed or divided into separate states or provinces or regions to add more photos except for only one. 5★, Nov 18, 2024
  • Is there a way where I can add more than one picture to a country ? 5★, Nov 18, 2024
  • I love the idea of this app but I wish there were more countries such as smaller Caribbean countries like Saint Lucia and Bermuda. 5★, Nov 12, 2024
  • You should add more country maps like Morocco, Thailand, and Uzbekistan since they are great places to travel! 4★, Sep 23, 2024
  • I want a whole map of US showing the counties and it is not letting me view that 2★, Jul 18, 2024
  • Wish it worked across devices but this is the only app that visually does what I want 5★, Dec 26, 2023

Easy to use13%

★★★★★ Love this pic app love how it puts the pix up for you keeps track of everything so simple and easy
★★★★★ I live this app and how simple it is, the only thing is that I would love to be able to put it on my homescreen and keep track of it that way as well.
★★★★★ It's really simple and very easy to use it.
Fun, addictive13%

9 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ Photo map is such a fun find!
★★★★★ If you like to track where you go and have a quick reminder of different fun sites you saw around the country this is the picture app for you.
★★★★★ It's fun to see how many counties within a state we've been to.
Worth the money6%

4 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ I wish the other maps were free
★★★★★ I'm cheap and this is well worth the price.
★★★★★ Explorer's Pack is worth every penny.
Accurate, great results4%

3 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ I was just showing my husband how accurate and insightful about our travel history it is.
★★★★★ Fun idea and works relatively well. However, it does not sort all photos correctly. If the location is relatively close to a different state (even a few miles within the state), it often sorts them into wrong ones.…
★★★★★ Its works great but, it would be better if we could fit multiple pictures in .
