Edit: ALL RESPONSES FROM DEVELOPER ARE AI. That alone tells you enough about how much they care for their player base. Don’t be fooled, this game is becoming increasingly contradicting. The playing field is NOT even. It used to be the case that you could get the advantage by spending maybe $20, but now with their heroes and special units, which you generally can’t unlock without spending real money, stick around for every game you play. This game is meant to be a strategy game, yet your skill or competency won’t at all be a variable in your defeat, rather it will be determined by the enemy’s spending of real world currency, which can never be predicted and never appropriately accounted for, essentially randomizing randomizing the playing field, with the free player always with the crippling disadvantage. The benefits of spending real world currency are not minor. They are utterly decisive in any war. I am very disappointed with the path that Bytro to monetize their game. Instead of monetizing via cosmetics, premium maps and simultaneous game limits, ad revenue, etc., all of which would bring money without defeating the fundamental appeal of their game, they choose disregard for their players and willing degrade their game, reducing it to a mere thoughtless entertainment. Edit: Yes, unorthodox strategies are what makes the game fun, but if one has to use unorthodox strategies in order to “gain an edge” over pay-to-win players, that is simply an admission that those who spend money in this game are favored. In addition to this, I’d like to note that there are often cases where no matter what you do, you will lose, all because the opponent has spent enough money to ensure that no “unorthodox strategy” can ever possible work against them.
Absolutely love the clean layout, the mechanics, and the professional overlook of the game. Sad the WW1 and WW3 look so bubbly and messy. Hope you incorporate this games layout to the other. Would play them all.
You will find a lot of nations that spend money on the game. It’s doable free, just very hard.
