Store description

Spiele die digitale Adaption des beliebten Brettspiels. Root ist ein Abenteuer- und Kriegsspiel, bei dem 2 bis 4 Spieler um die Kontrolle über eine riesige Wildnis kämpfen. Die ruchlose Marquise de Katz hat das große Waldland in Besitz genommen, um seine Reichtümer zu ernten. Unter ihrer Herrschaft haben sich die vielen Geschöpfe des Waldes zusammengeschlossen. Diese Allianz wird versuchen, seine Ressourcen zu stärken und die Herrschaft der Katzen zu untergraben. Bei diesen Bemühungen kann die Allianz die Hilfe der umherziehenden Vagabunden in Anspruch nehmen, die sich auf den gefährlicheren Waldlandwegen bewegen können. Auch wenn einige mit den Hoffnungen und Träumen der Allianz sympathisieren mögen, sind diese Wanderer alt genug, um sich an die großen Raubvögel zu erinnern, die einst die Wälder kontrollierten. In der Zwischenzeit haben die stolzen, streitlustigen Horst am Rande der Region einen neuen Feldherrn gefunden, von dem sie hoffen, dass er ihre Partei dazu bringt, ihr altes Geburtsrecht wieder aufzunehmen. Die Bühne ist bereitet für einen Wettbewerb, der über das Schicksal des großen Waldlandes entscheiden wird. Es liegt an den Spielern zu entscheiden, welche Gruppe letztlich Wurzeln schlagen wird.
