Word Town

Word Town used to be one of my favorite games. It was fun, challenging and kept your mind sharp. Now it is structured for 5 year olds. I have played this game for years but am now considering deleting it and replacing it with something more challenging for adults.

Redesign is awful

The new redesign and daily puzzle is awful. I used to play this every day as a challenge now it’s so easy it’s not worth opening the app anymore. Long time user who is going to be deleting the app because it’s more directed towards elementary school kids than adults.

What is this merge game?

I have this game for the word search to pass the time. Had it for years. Recently it opens to a merge game. Okay fine. I’ll try it out. I figure it’s maybe a beta test. It’s a disaster. After a while there are so many item generaters that they now take up nearly half the board. Supposedly they “can be merged” but there is no way to make that happen. And you can’t delete them either. Even when a higher level of that generator is provided. That merge game needs a lot of work. Also 5 levels for daily challenge is obnoxious. Just saying.
