HOW SURE ARE WE
Not in any grossing chart, so this comes from ratings growth (2658 new ratings a month on average since launch): revenue grows with new ratings, more slowly for apps that collect ratings fast. Tested on 418 apps with verified revenue: typically off by about 2 times, and big earners tend to come out low. Countries we don't track (and Google Play in China, which doesn't exist) aren't included, and neither are ads or web payments. Gross revenue before store fees.

★★★★★ Even if incorrect flight data is shown, refunds are not possible after purchasing a whole year subscription!
★★★★★ Flighty charge RIDICULOUSLY (over $50 bucks) for something Siri already gives you free and most airlines are already communicating in real time the status of flights.
★★★★★ Got charged for the 59.99 per year subscription thinking I was signing up for the 4.99 per.

★★★★★ I'm at Casablanca airport and it is 5:54 am. Flighty has been sending notices all night that my flight is leaving 1 hr early. My RAM ticket says it leaves at 6:55 and that is what the Departures board confirms.…
★★★★★ There's nothing wrong with the app, but spamming me to write a review gets you 2 stars.
★★★★★ At the end of the day, everytime I checked, the airline apps were as correct and as wrong as flighty was with gate chances and delays.

★★★★★ If you are a high flyer like me that has been flying for more than 30 years, working from a major airline with an Excel log that has more than 15 different tracking data's (pretty much a geek) flighty it doesn't work.

WHAT THEY ASK FOR
  • Need a way to turn off nonstop gate change alerts 24+ hours out. 1★, Oct 23, 2026
  • Wish the app builders would add a feature where you can see your friends passport page and see how many flights they have taken. 4★, Oct 20, 2026
  • It would be great if aircraft registrations could be identified and displayed earlier, especially when tracking upcoming flights. 5★, Oct 16, 2026
  • The ability to add personal photos, write little travel stories, leave ratings for flights, and share experiences with other aviation enthusiasts would be amazing. 5★, Oct 16, 2026
  • I already love the current smart connection alert, it would be great to add the passport line info (the time it would take to get off the plane, go through immigration, collect luggage and exit the airport … 4★, Oct 13, 2026
  • Enter my trips and wish it would automatically sync with my delta account. 5★, Oct 8, 2026
  • One feature request: in the passport it would be great if the lines between cities were thicker based on how many times you have flown that route. 5★, Oct 3, 2026

★★★★★ Flighty brings some of the fun back to flying.
★★★★★ The airport and yearly stats are entertaining to look at during delays or to compare with family/friends.
★★★★★ I fly a fair bit and refer to the app constantly before flights. It's an easy place to look for my flight number, take off time, landing time, etc. Stuff that was in a variety of airline apps is all in one place now.…
Worth the money9%

★★★★★ To show I'm not a jerk, I'll give you a free upgrade suggestion you can use to enhance this actual app: add a screen face application for "baggage carrousel".
★★★★★ I just wish there were a way to get a free annual or lifetime subscription for frequent users.
★★★★★ So basically some features on the app are not free, like to add to your home screen to track it, I wish that was free and just make it free, but overall great app!

Broken. Flood of worthless notifications.

Delays are not showing. My last four flights have not shown correct delay data. Isn’t that the whole point of the app? Let me turn off gate change notifications until an hour before the flight. Gosh I get nonstop united gate change notifications and it floods my app. No way to only turn those off. Fix it. The gate notifications are INSANE! Nonstop worthless 24 hours out. It says delayed, it’s red! Oh no! Wait, it’s getting there 2 minutes “late”…. Try yellow. Don’t freak me out that I’m gonna be late if it’s two minutes. Need a way to turn off nonstop gate change alerts 24+ hours out. Allow us to tailor specific notifications. The zoom in and zoom out animations are so unsafe for people who get motion sickness. This is not accessibility compliant. Give an option to limit motion. Missing delays a lot recently.

Very helpful app

This app aggregates all my flight messaging and statuses and does so more quickly that the alternatives I have tried. The plane chaining is very useful. 5 stars from someone who travels way too much.

Issues with flight searches & invitation link

I genuinely love this app. I've paid for it multiple times, and it's been on my phone for years. Today, I ran into an issue while searching for flights. I suspect it might be related to my location, as I'm currently in Spain. If you're using Cloudflare, I can understand why this might be happening. However, I couldn't get any searches to work until I turned on my VPN. The app would just keep loading and eventually show an error. It's not a huge issue for me, but I imagine other users might be experiencing the same thing. I initially tried to send feedback through the app, but the process felt a bit frustrating, so I found it easier to write a review here instead. I also ran into another issue a while ago when trying to invite a friend. The app wouldn't generate an invitation link, and after a couple of days trying to figure out why, I discovered it was because my iCloud storage was full. The problem was that the app never showed an actual error message. It just silently failed. I hope this feedback is helpful to the team!
