★★★★★ Now the app is giving me 2 options of paying a subscription (after I made an account) .
★★★★★ I checked my bank and they charged me twice.
Crashes and freezes33%

6 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ This app literally doesn't open up to anything.
★★★★★ It just gets stuck on the opening page and never activates.
★★★★★ I just purchased a subscription for these recipes and the app never loads or works. I receive a white screen and can't do anything.

Bugs, things not working11%

2 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Along with that, the “Favorites” tab on the bottom just doesn't work— it just shows a bunch of gray lines and 0 recipes.
★★★★★ Let's get it figured out and then I pretty much got ghosted so I asked for my money back because when you spent $50 for something you actually expected to work and silence so until they get whatever bugs fixed to make…
Limits, credits, locked features11%

★★★★★ I really enjoyed this app until I realized when I opened it that I had to pay for a subscription? This is really unfortunate as I thought it was a great idea. Would've liked a heads up before.

★★★★★ The app has updated and says that it can find my account.
★★★★★ I feel like I deserve a refund at this point. The hasn't been a new recipe added in over a month what am I paying for?

  • I wish there was easier way to track my macros within the app. 5★, Aug 14, 2026

Can’t see all the recipes

Every time I try to scroll to the bottom of all the recipes, it scoots me all the way to the top so I never get to see all the recipes

A college lifesaver

For anyone one the border of buying this- do it!! I’m a college student who just started cooking and this app is a godsend with helping me make meals that are easy, meet my goals, and taste delicious! Me and my Roomates are victim to the sweet tooth to fast food pipeline and I can’t count how many times I’ve made a healthy sweet treat from this app to save myself money and calories!! I’m still trying more but I’ve loved what I’ve made- truly a great app!

★★★★★Sep 19, 2026

Hit or Miss

I enjoy this app but I am very frustrated with it at the same time. I really enjoy these recipes but I am constantly logged out and when I try to sign back in it says my account doesn’t exist. It’s a bug and eventually I can log back in hours later or the next day. However, it seems to love doing it when I am getting ready to cook so I’ve had to resort to screenshotting the recipe so I’m not left high and dry come meal time. I can’t always plan ahead and screenshot so then I’m scrambling to try and go from memory of other recipes. I like to use the handy ingredient filter when I forget to plan ahead to filter out what I can make with what I’ve got on hand, but I have to be logged in to do that! I know this app can be even better once these log in issued are fixed and I wish the search feature was a little more fine tuned. You have to type in almost an exact match for some things to pull up. Hopefully in the future that feature will have a little more grace. I love the macro breakdown, imperial/metric toggle, meal planning section and you can adjust the serving sizes. I’m just over being frustrated to the max on being let down when I’m needing it the most! One of the main reasons why I subscribe is so I can hop on for good recipes with ease. It is not easy when you can’t access the content with this recurring issue.

What's new in 8.3.9

App startup crash fix!

Released Feb 18, 2018. Current version shipped Oct 17, 2026.

Store description

You know the moment. It's 6pm, you're starving, and nothing that sounds good fits your macros. So you make the same sad chicken and rice for the fourth time this week. Or you order the pizza and feel bad about it after. That's the whole reason this app exists. I'm Zach. I've spent 12 years turning the food people actually crave (pizza, burgers, tacos, cheesecake, orange chicken ramen, and more) into versions with more protein and fewer calories. Not "healthy" versions. Good ones. The kind you make again because you want to, not because you're supposed to. Open the app, type in whatever's in your fridge, and you get real meals with the macros already figured out. No tracking. No math. No standing there deciding. WHAT'S INSIDE - 823+ macro-friendly recipes, new ones added every week - Full macros and calories on every single recipe - Step-by-step video for each one, so it comes out right the first try - Search by ingredient, filter by calories, protein, or equipment - Meal planner and a grocery list that builds itself - Favorites, folders, and your own private notes on recipes you tweak - Mark what you've made and build your own rotation You don't have to cook separate meals for everyone else either. One dinner, the family's happy, and yours still fits. WHAT IT COSTS Free to download and look around. Full access is $19/month or $149/year, billed through your Apple account and cancelable anytime in Settings.
