HOW SURE ARE WE
Small app: combines its grossing ranks with ratings growth (949 new ratings a month on average since launch). Tested on 418 apps with verified revenue: typically off by about 2.6 times, so the range is wide. Countries we don't track (and Google Play in China, which doesn't exist) aren't included, and neither are ads or web payments. Gross revenue before store fees.

WHAT THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT · SHARE OF BAD REVIEWS
Price and subscription66%

31 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ I paid for premium but still makes you watch ads for almost every chapter or makes you pay for every chapter.
★★★★★ I unlocked 41 episodes using the “free daily unlock” then I hit a paywall where WebComics demanded diamonds with no option to unlock by watching an advert.
★★★★★ Now, the part I didn't like—aside from paying for a subscription that feels pretty pointless—is that even with the $70/year plan, you don't actually unlock the episodes; instead, you just get tickets to rent an episode…
Too many ads23%

11 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Lies about ads on website.
Limits, credits, locked features21%

10 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ After that you have to pay…to read the later episode.
★★★★★ The fact that I not only have to pay 5.99 a month to at least get some “free” mangas and I still have to get gems to be able to unlock the chapters of mangas is heinous work in my opinion.
★★★★★ Webcomics also fails by offering extremely limited ability to read chapters through ads compared to the other 2 services.
Login and account problems9%

4 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ I wanted to delete my account but lo and behold I can't do it because the account deletion button is hidden now what am I supposed to do???
★★★★★ I then bought all the chapters they had available which is 31 come to find out the 31st is not available unless you have it on your phone via the app so I install the app then login using the exact same login that I'm…
★★★★★ I think adding age verification for “mature” comics (be it themes or content) would go a really long way in improving the user experience.
Lost data, sync, backup9%

4 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Do not use they charge you even if you don't use it and have deleted it
★★★★★ Don't get me wrong, the comics available are AMAZING, the authors/artists definitely deserve their flowers, but some comics are so heavily censored that you lose important plot points.
★★★★★ I made a purchase through the app and it hasn't synched and allow me to view what I purchased.
Wrong or poor results6%

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ This app has a fake link with my comic name that leads to their website.
★★★★★ Don't get me wrong though there are great mangas on this app and I've enjoyed the ones that I've read so far .
★★★★★ Don't get me wrong, the comics available are AMAZING, the authors/artists definitely deserve their flowers, but some comics are so heavily censored that you lose important plot points.
Slow, laggy, battery4%

2 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ It takes over a day to earn enough diamonds to buy one chapter.
★★★★★ I'd love to use the app but it appears so zoomed in on my Brand new IPhone 16 that all the functions to navigate the app or chapters are where the time WiFi and battery percentage are.
No customer support4%

2 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ I love to support authors but this doesn't seem to be very feasible with the way their pricing is set up.
★★★★★ I don't much have a problem with the app itself, but the website does not specify this in any of their support FAQ's.
WHAT THEY ASK FOR
  • It would be great if we could link accounts to other accounts that way we don't lose data incase we get logged out 5★, Dec 15, 2025
  • Love the app wish there were more options in terms of “purchasing” gems and more free reads. 4★, Sep 8, 2025
  • It's way to hard and complicated to get gems and I make it to like chapter 35 and I have to pay or use gems it's not really worth the hassle to do so much for gems please make more chapters free🙏 4★, Mar 30, 2025
  • Okay I thought it would be great 5★, Jan 16, 2025

Worth the money15%

6 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ The best comics app out fr , check it out well worth it
★★★★★ I'm not sure if it's an update or a bug, but lately my 5 add free watch thing hasn't been working!
★★★★★ It's also very easy to earn gems for free.
Easy to use5%

2 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ It's also very easy to earn gems for free.
★★★★★ It runs very fast, almost no loading time on chapters which is very nice. It would be good if I could just swipe to go to the next chapter instead of having to open the chapter list every time though.
Fun, addictive5%

2 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ I enjoy reading in it and using it!
★★★★★ But thank you for the years I've got to enjoy it beforehand.

Terrible app

Lies about ads on website. I wouldn’t bother downloading this app. Not worth your time.

★★★★★Sep 23, 2026
False advertisement

You advertise if we download the app it would download 20 chapters for free. But 10 out of 20 requires payment to unlock the chapters. It is not free. False advertisement

★★★★★Sep 18, 2026
Scam

I paid for premium but still makes you watch ads for almost every chapter or makes you pay for every chapter.

I love this app so so much it’s so good 😊

Not Free. Have to watch ads for daily “free” episodes and the option to do that goes away!

I unlocked 41 episodes using the “free daily unlock” then I hit a paywall where WebComics demanded diamonds with no option to unlock by watching an advert. Regret downloading the app as I now won’t be finishing my story.

Awesome

I’m the type to read everything into Isekai, action to drama and romance, revenge to heartwarming stories. I really like everything and how well everything is so well characterized.
