I can’t watch anything - no subtitles and CoreMediaError playback failed

I’ve been trying to open a number of series and nothing it always throws a playback error… there’s always something with this app is so frustrating.. update: 2nd day in a row not working. Not in the tv app there’s no subtitles even tho they are on, and I’ve tried several languages.. I mean why I’m I even paying for this?
