10 year player - my thoughts

I’ve played this game since 2017 and I really love this little app. It’s very mobile gamey but it’s worth playing in my opinion. Lot of artifacts are COMPLETELY gated behind paying $70 per pack for a single one, but you can still hit top of leaderboards without them. I have fun with this game and have never spent money.

Don’t get me wrong. This game was fairly fun when I played it up to a certain point. The story is great and has a stupid and funny premise. But… this is a game I could never recommend to a friend. The developers have completely stopped developing story since 2022, the competitive scene has become incredibly sweaty and toxic, the grinding for demon god souls is merciless, and the gacha is unfair bs. The cycle of bounty hunts and advent dungeons has been eating away at me for over 3 years now, and I only quit the game as of December of 2025. Please tread cautiously so you don’t experience what I had to experience… it gets so exhausting to play this game for too long. You might now from the games forums as “Sapphire” and I’ll just say this much: Don’t burn yourself out. 5/19/26
