What happened to the gender?

I just download it but then i saw something that changed i cant choose another character instead of that stupid girl and ik some boys are having the same trouble from choosing a boy that appears and we cant choose a character we want this is so trash if they can fix this i will give a better description and add mire stars but for now IT STAYS ON ONE STAR UNTIL THEY CHANGE TO GET ANOTHER CHARACTER OR CHOOSE IT.
