StarVPN, introduced to me by a colleague, has proven reliable since my country implemented intensified internet censorship through deep packet inspections by AI, rendering other VPNs like NordVPN ineffective. Its consistent performance is likely due to its relatively low popularity. However, it’s working just fine for me and I’m happy about it. Considering its relatively small company and affordable price (only when you get it for a year at $34.99), you can’t complain much about it. There are much better and more expensive VPNs out there, but I would like to highlight some areas for consideration. - It’s detectable by some websites such as F1TV, Amazon Web Services, etc. It does not have obfuscated servers like NordVPN. - Doesn’t have any particular feature aside from server and protocol selection. - Obviously, it doesn’t get updates regularly. - Protocol options are limited. However, I gave it a 5-star rating because it works perfectly for me when other more advanced VPNs fail to work.
