★★★★★ Always network error when typing ANY WEBSITE into the app.
★★★★★ I love the idea of browsing with security, but this app just doesn't work.
WHAT THEY ASK FOR
  • Just wish it could be available on other platforms. 5★, Dec 28, 2025
  • I wish there was a desktop version! 5★, Sep 30, 2023
  • Really love the direction this is going, just please allow individual script toggling from the URL badge or at least make “Trusting” a site fully override privacy settings like blocking third party scripts, image, etc. 5★, Dec 27, 2020
  • Now we need a full-fledged SnowHaze desktop browser! 5★, Nov 26, 2020
  • It would be nice if he browser prompted you to open something in an app. 4★, May 21, 2020
  • Please add an "Open in New Tab" feature. 4★, Feb 15, 2020
  • Bookmarks do need a little help, and please add a desktop user agent option toggle to the page specific options in the top left corner, and also in the user agent settings. 5★, Jan 16, 2019
  • Feature request for the devs: Please give us the ability to reload certain sites in desktop mode. 5★, May 26, 2018
WORDS THAT KEEP COMING UP IN BAD REVIEWS

Nothing stands out.

WHAT THEY LOVE · SHARE OF GOOD REVIEWS
Fast11%

4 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ App worked better before iOS 16, it was smooth and fast.
★★★★★ What I mean is that in Firefox Focus, there is an option to block content trackers, which supposedly "break websites" or "break functionality", which is a lie because YouTube and Instagram still load everything fast…
★★★★★ Very fast and very stable.
Worth the money11%

4 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ Keep it free boys, some of us are old internet heads and those rules have never changed.
★★★★★ You have to understand that both - free and premium version - do NOT protect you when using other apps on your iphone or ipad.
★★★★★ I've used and tried out every one out there, paid and free, and this one really proves itself.
Looks great9%

3 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ Similar UI interface (settings) as Safari.
★★★★★ The UI is really polished and I can't stand how DuckDuckGo displays tabs as tiny squares with the “X” in the corner, but larger tabs in a file stack where you can just swipe is so much nicer, thank you Devs.
★★★★★ Open source, great security features, and a clean UI.
Easy to use6%

2 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ Stable, easy to use, and genuinely privacy-focused.
★★★★★ Easy to use, and very clearly a high privacy browser.
Accurate, great results6%

2 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ I also use the extension for browsing on my laptop because the tab siloing works well.
★★★★★ The vpn works perfectly in all locations

Downloads Vanish

Why even use a privacy focused browser if its so opaque nobody knows where the downloads go? I’m not hunting for a download folder. I want my file I downloaded.

Stellar

By far the most secure, private browser available. Light years better than any of the others. Just wish it could be available on other platforms. Thanks SnowHaze for making a truly legit privacy & security focused browser that benefits the consumer. Period.

Hasn’t worked in a long time

Used to be great. I’d use it for bypassing newspapers demanding you to sign up for a subscription just to access a single article published 20 years ago. But that feature hasn’t worked in nearly two years, and I’m pretty much done waiting for it to ever be fixed.

Earth To Developer

1. Fix the UI so that the lettering in menu options isn't overlapping (duh!). 2. Explain the geek terms, so that ordinary users can understand what the options mean.

★★★★★Jul 12, 2025
Stellar

Hands down the most potent privacy browser for iOS, but what I really appreciate is the protection it provides you with all the various settings. It will keep websites at arms length and only let in or out what you decide. I also use the extension for browsing on my laptop because the tab siloing works well. Thanks!

NO UPDATES!!

iPhone warned me today that I was running a version over 6 months old. Turns out the developers haven't updated this app for over a year. Sounds like a MAJOR SECURITY RISK to keep using this. It's a shame because it was my go-to app on iPhone & iPad. We'll see if the developers respond to my review. One star rating based solely on lack of updates. Otherwise I've been quite happy with the app.
