WHAT THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT · SHARE OF BAD REVIEWS
Bugs, things not working25%

27 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ This app worked great with my old iPhone 13 but does not work with my new iPhone 16.
★★★★★ Freezes or doesn't load all the time on my ipad
★★★★★ Can't use this app anymore as I use a Scarlett solo now with the instrument cable on the second input.
Worse after an update23%

24 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ All my favorite tones no longer play the original sounds once I updated my iPhone to the latest IOS 26 software.
★★★★★ This app used to be great but since the last update a few years ago everything sounds muddy and the audio keeps clipping even when the volume is lowered
★★★★★ On iPhone, it won't work. It won't even show that the rig is plugged in. I think it is because of newest ios. Please, if you can fix this, then I will make my rating higher
Crashes and freezes15%

16 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Decent copy of original sound, but it crashes too much
★★★★★ Freezes or doesn't load all the time on my ipad
★★★★★ I tried playing with the for whom the bell tolls bass sound and it started making a loud screeching sound and crashed.
No customer support9%

10 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ I see no way of contacting customer support to ask a simple question like, why in the world is my list of pedal boards not in any discernible order?
★★★★★ If you have an audio interface with more than one input, good luck trying to change it to input 2. This app has no audio settings to let you switch between input 1 and 2.
★★★★★ After updating to new iOS, app is just a quiet hiss machine. Developer responses to other reviews are dismissive or not helpful, not a big surprise there. Been using for years and now useless. Avoid the download, save…
Wrong or poor results8%

8 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Used to be great. Now crashes any time I try to use it for more than 30 seconds.
★★★★★ Been using for years and now useless.
★★★★★ Loved this app until I upgraded to the newest iOS. Now the app just produces a low volume buzzing sound
Lost data, sync, backup6%

6 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ I have an IRig 2 and this problem has gone for a while now.
★★★★★ I use your app to use Tonebridge and play along backing tracks and I have completely lost the ability to do that with the new phone.
★★★★★ I've gone to five different help pages online and nothing seems to help.
Login and account problems4%

4 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ When I first started using tone bridge i could listen to all of the original songs in the demo selector thing for the pedals but now I need a premium account to listen to the originals.
★★★★★ Login or you get nothing.
★★★★★ It is ridiculous how much info you collect and you don't support Sign In with Apple even though it's an option on your app when you choose to login.
Slow, laggy, battery4%

4 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Tonebridge has always worked great for me but as of late there has been significant lag between notes picked and sound coming out.
★★★★★ Update: was hoping a new phone would improve the lag but it's no better.
★★★★★ But right now it's just a frustrating time drain.
WHAT THEY ASK FOR

This is awesome just wish there was also a free drum kit plugin too

Like imagine you can have pre made drum kits that sound like most artists or bands like linkin park or Sevendust for example that can work as a audio unit plugin for GarageBand where it’s either on the keyboard or a pad and it sounds realistic like an actual drum kit, and if you want to you can also customize the sounds off a preset and can also be layered with multi takes if you’re someone who has to record a part with a kick and snare and then go back to do hi hats and cymbals which I think would be cool

★★★★★Sep 28, 2026
MIDI?

There is NOTHING like this app! Would love to be able to control presets through Songbook Pro from one iPad to Tonebridge on another with Bluetooth or any MIDI. Any chance of that coming to fruition?
