★★★★★ For an app this expensive, the inability to permanently silence narration and background music is ridiculous.
★★★★★ Don't waste your money on this app.
★★★★★ Requested refund but was denied.

★★★★★ One problem is that IT DOES NOT WORK.
2 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.
★★★★★ Inaccurate information or none whatsoever ever where it mattered.
★★★★★ Imagine trying to enjoy Maui while a fake over-caffeinated tour guide constantly interrupts your own music every few minutes with corny narration, forced jokes, and tourist-trap energy you cannot permanently disable.
Nothing stands out.

★★★★★ 100% worth every penny for this app.
★★★★★ Absolutely loved it. We would have missed so much if not for the app. We were confident we wouldn't get lost. The music and stories were wonderful and completed the experience.
★★★★★ Very very worth it, such a cool way to take a tour on your own, stop off at little places, and it picks back up when you resume in the car.

★★★★★ Shaka Guide was extremely helpful in planning our stops, timing for the overall trip and the gps activated information is great for turns, stops, and just information about landmarks. I highly recommend their tour…

Latest reviews, Brazil App Store.
We wanted to do the road to Hana by ourselves. This app worked perfectly! When our gps didn’t have signal, the instructions and stores kept going. You control where you stop and if you decide to head back early before you reach the end, it just goes with it. Well worth the cost.
Great way to get a private tour without spending private tour prices.
I’ve used this app twice for the Road to Hana and wouldn’t do it any other way. The stop info and facts along the way are so helpful and interesting. Since using this app for the Road to Hana, my husband and I used it on the drive to Haleakalā and in South Dakota. Worth the $ for sure!! Thank you!
Used the Shaka guide for tour of Haleakalā Sunset and Stargazing and Road to Hana full loop. Both were incredible. Accurate, informative, fun, and super helpful in all regards! Also thoroughly enjoyed the island music that plays in between directions and stories!
We were planning on doing the road to Hana and were told service is really bad pretty much non existent on the road, we looked into a tour but didn’t want to cram in with other people. We found out about the shaka guide and are so glad we did! You can download the tour prior to heading out so you have full directions and details throughout the drive. Not only does it tell you all the spots to go and some knowledge about the spots you get a bunch of information and storytelling of Hawaii! There’s also an option to play background music throughout the tour to keep the aloha vibes! Without a doubt best purchase for this drive if you want to skip the tour bus mess.
Great tour on the West side. Educational and fun. Stories about the locations and history were fantastic. Safety tips along the way were very much appreciated.
