Weather Station • Your own station sets conditions and tunes forecasts; followed stations show reference readings. • This Is My Station in station details selects which followed station is yours. Search Settings • Search Settings finds settings by name or what they do. • Choosing a search result opens its screen and scrolls to the setting. Rain gauges and nearby observations • Rain Gauges on the radar (Gold) show volunteer CoCoRaHS rain totals for the last 24 hours. • For past days in the U.S., Time Machine (Gold) compares a nearby station's observed high, low and rain with its normal, and adds the closest rain gauge. Upcoming Travel • Upcoming Travel shows the forecast for trips on your calendar, next to the compare card. • Upcoming Travel settings live in Compare & Home, and Settings search finds them. Icon styles and regional backgrounds • Five new matched icon styles for weather and data lead the icon list. Sculpted Matte is the new default, including for anyone on the previous default. • Backgrounds match your forecast location's landscape by default. Picking a scene in Settings keeps it. • Coast, Woodlands, Uplands and Drylands are also backgrounds you can pick, right after Open Country. • Tapping sunrise or sunset quality opens the full quality screen in your language, like on Mac and Apple TV. Everything else • Test Notifications, at the end of Settings › Notifications, checks your setup and sends a test notification to this device. • Notifications keep arriving after iOS renews the app's push registration, without a manual refresh. • Home stays in your saved locations after you reorder them. • Apple Watch shows the right place name after you travel. • Storm Intercept shows it's on only once the setting is saved, and tells you if saving fails. • Widgets recognize your subscription without opening the app first. • The 6-hour precipitation chart follows the 24-Hour Clock setting. • When a tracked storm is a minute or less away, the Storm Tracker card reads "Arriving now" on one line. • Settings › Siri Shortcuts no longer shows a Siri tip with a placeholder in place of a data point. • The Apple Watch layout previews in Settings no longer cut off the message shown before the weather has loaded. • Stars fade gradually as clouds move in at night. • In Visualize Day, the sun sets behind the photo's skyline instead of fading in mid-air. • Apple Watch complications fade out long text instead of ending in an ellipsis. • Fixes for crashes in Settings › Data & Layout, Smart Weather Stories, the iPad locations list and Apple Watch.
