I am a fan of FF 7, 8, 9 and 12, FF9 was my first of the series, i bought it when it first came out. i read the horrible reviews here, especially on IOS, i almost didn't buy it, but my console is broken and right now all i have is an IPAD AIR 4th generation , i'm currently running the latest version IOS 26.6.2 and i'm on what would be disk 3 and not only am i not having any issues, it seems to run smoother than the PS-1 version, the game is much faster with zero loading times, extremely smooth controls, and for absolute fun, i love the no encounters cheat, but it also has the 9,999 hit cheat , the permanent trance chest and speed up, and if you really want a boost, it has unlimited gill, and lvl 99 ( that can be used when your characters are lvl 1, plus the maxed out abilities cheat, overall, if i could give this game 10 stars, i would. this game is a masterpiece on ipad. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

close to perfect but controller doesnt work

if you try to play the game with a controller it has turbo on for everything and is very buggy youre better off just using the touchscreen but you cant do that if you airplay to the tv

Great nostalgia, but mobile remote controls make it frustrating

Playing FF9 on the phone has been fun for nostalgia, but the controls with a remote are pretty frustrating. When I try to purchase items, it sometimes auto-clicks and keeps buying without me intending to, or the cursor won’t stay in one place. The buttons feel like they have a mind of their own, which makes shopping and menu navigation really annoying. I honestly think the game would be more enjoyable if there were an optional mode that gives access to all items, especially for mobile players dealing with control glitches. It would make the experience smoother and less stressful.

Not Playable

I have 1-9 final fantasy on my m3 iPad Pro. This game is not playable for me. I use a Bluetooth controller because who wants to hold a big iPad. The buttons are so sensitive, a single press will push the button multiple times rapidly. There are other reports of this issue over a year ago and it is not fixed. I feel cheated out of my money and I do not believe the developer cares,about the quality of this product. Look at the review score.
