HOW SURE ARE WE
Not in any grossing chart, so this comes from ratings growth (0.8 new ratings a month on average since launch): revenue grows with new ratings, more slowly for apps that collect ratings fast. Tested on 418 apps with verified revenue: typically off by about 2 times, and big earners tend to come out low. Countries we don't track (and Google Play in China, which doesn't exist) aren't included, and neither are ads or web payments. Gross revenue before store fees.

WHAT THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT · SHARE OF BAD REVIEWS
Login and account problems30%

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ I had to resort to omitting touch/Face ID and use only a password to even get the app to open in a browser.
★★★★★ Which means no matter how strong your password is for folder lock it's only as strong as the 6 digit pin for your iPad / iPhone.
★★★★★ This is somewhat safe, but my understanding is that someone armed with the unlock password can break it.
Bugs, things not working20%

2 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ All I get is an error message it has quit working.
★★★★★ On the pro version, screen rotation does not work but on the free version it works.
Lost data, sync, backup20%

2 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ ...in that only Dropbox cloud backup is supported.
★★★★★ Also, the app will connect over WiFi with my browsers, but does not recognize a backup PIN when prompted in the Chrome or Edge browsers.
Missing features20%

2 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Further, it is missing the app lock feature, the feature I was most interested in.
★★★★★ Because there is NO WAY to turn off the finger print recognition!
WHAT THEY ASK FOR
  • Basic Dropbox gives a miserly 2G and if you need any more at all then you have to pay $120 annually. 2★, Oct 16, 2019
  • Please give us this option. 4★, Mar 5, 2019
  • I wish I had known this ahead of time I would have purchased a different app. 2★, Nov 11, 2017
  • Just everything you need to have in a locker App for a reasonable price 5★, Jun 8, 2017
  • Please add remove auto in setting app for forwarding file Thanks 5★, Jan 10, 2017
  • I will definitely recommend this to everyone that has concerns about private files, the decoy function add a very usable feature that I hope not to use but is there in case is needed, keep the good products coming guys! 5★, May 12, 2016
  • But would need more options to share the files from the app to other apps within the device. 4★, Sep 25, 2015

Could be good

File names are not displayed and you never know if your objects will appear on the list when transferred via WiFi. Frustrating!

Doesn’t accept videos

Doesn’t accept videos - just crashes

Great app, works well!

iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 14.3 - This app works very well and does everything that it advertises. I wanted an app that was easy to use and one that provided a little extra security for my documents and this app is it. Before I purchased this app I tried many other apps and none performed as well as this app. My thanks to the developer for an easy to use app that works well and is reasonably priced. Job well done!

Worse

Can’t get into it. All I get is an error message it has quit working. Click on error message takes me back to the App Store.

★★★★★Oct 16, 2019
Big shortcoming

...in that only Dropbox cloud backup is supported. Why other cloud services are not available is a mystery. Basic Dropbox gives a miserly 2G and if you need any more at all then you have to pay $120 annually. This severely limits the utility of this app to a 2G effective max on data. Come, on, guys. You can do better than this.

Touch ID

Great app but I’m here just to say that you NEED to give us the option to either have Touch ID or not because let’s say someone has their fingerprint on your phone but you don’t want them to have access to the app then it doesn’t matter. They have it either way. Please give us this option.
