Would be nice to believe that where you aim your bat mattered. The amount of times you hold a swing, swing early OR aim intentionally over the ball to control the trajectory only to have it fly off in a random direction is nuts. Not to mention this game seems to have what so many older games had which is if you are doing TOO good, you'll randomly get matched witha trash team that somehow hits everything and has your number always. It's fun for a couple of games, but once you start getting deeper

Essentially an 'improved' version of Basball Star with more stats, more customisation and plenty of micro-management. It also has somewhat better graphics and animations. But personally I prefer the casual simplicity of BS, which has a more user friendly automatic style of batting than the awkward manual mechanic of B9 which leaves you struggling to time your swing.
