Disable bloatware and preinstalled system apps on your phone — without root and without a PC. Package Disabler is an on-device bloatware remover and debloater. It uses Android's built-in Wireless debugging (ADB) to turn off the bloatware preinstalled on your device, reclaiming storage, battery life, and RAM. Every change is non-destructive and fully reversible. Nothing is removed from the system partition — flip the switch back and the app is restored immediately. ■ WHY REMOVE BLOATWARE? Preinstalled apps and system packages you never open can still run background services, wake your device, consume storage, and drain battery. Most cannot be uninstalled through standard settings. Disabling them via ADB is the standard solution, but typical guides require desktop drivers and terminal commands. Package Disabler provides clear safety tiers before you make changes: • Recommended — Pointless or easily replaceable apps. Safe for everyone to disable. • Advanced — May disable minor or obscure features. • Expert — Can break noticeable system features. For experienced users. • Unsafe — Critical system components. Keep these enabled to avoid system instability. Descriptions and safety tiers are powered by the open-source Universal Android Debloater project (UAD-ng), alongside a curated list for common OEM packages. If a feature stops working, open your Disabled filter, toggle the package back on, and your phone is back to normal. ■ NO USB DEBUGGING NEEDED Package Disabler uses local Wireless debugging only—never USB debugging. This prevents conflicts with sensitive applications (such as banking apps) that restrict USB debugging access. ■ REQUIREMENTS • Android 11 or newer (Wireless debugging is required) • Wi-Fi connection during the initial pairing step • No root access, no PC, no bootloader unlock, and no cable required • Note: Work- or school-managed devices with active MDM policies may restrict debugging features ■ IMPORTANT NOTICE Safety classifications are community-guided recommendations.
