Store description
Gypsum Plain is a tactile excavation game set on a sun-baked desert where gypsum crystals bloom like stone roses beneath the dunes.
Sweep floating sand away with gentle circular brush strokes, but keep your hand light: once the pink petals emerge, heavy pressure snaps them and lowers the grade of your specimen. When a cluster is fully revealed, switch to the shovel and pry along the root to lift it out intact.
Sandstorms roll in on a timer and rebury everything you cleaned, so watch the warning banner and harvest fast. Specimens are graded by intact petals: more stars and more digs mean a higher score and more coins.
Spend coins in the field supply shop on six working upgrades, from a soft bristle head that forgives heavy hands to a pocket wind shield that halves storm damage.
Features:
- Brush and shovel touch controls with real fragility physics
- Timed expeditions with dynamic sandstorm events
- Star grading for every excavated desert rose
- Six shop upgrades that all change how the game plays
- Twelve procedurally synthesized sound effects, no audio files
- Custom themed dialogs for pause, results, revive and purchases
