Applications from the proton family of products, always meet, or exceed my expectations. Including this app -5⭐'s
Proton has made a good try with Lumo, however, it is far from the capabilities of Google's Gemini which can do far more and with far greater accuracy, although not perfectly all of the time. Hopefully, Proton can keep improving Lumo and in the future it can become more of a daily driver rather than an occasional tool. I tried Lumo plus by the way.
In recent months I had discussions with Lumo about subjects that sit on the borderline of philosophy and twentieth century psychology. I was impressed by its apparent intelligence and apparent astuteness. On one occasion I asked it about similarities between the poetry of Robert Frost and the paintings of Andrew Wyeth. Again its apparent intelligence was impressive, but when I tried to turn back to an earlier point in the discussion, Lumo lost the thread.
As a proton visionary user, I usually touch pretty much everything in the Proton ecosystem, but Lumo was something I didn't. I use AI agents all the time, but during Lumos infancy it honestly was a bit rocky and not worth - the trade off of security vs losing out on tons of features wasn't valid beyond select cases. I left it alone for awhile, decided to check back - I'm so glad I did. Way better now - memory, drive integration, coherent image generation, unlimited for Visionary - thank you!
"your request was interrupted" - if the screen sleeps the request fails - if the screen locks sometimes incognito chats stay, other times they poof - lumo is dumber than qwen 3.8 the - app barely works on galaxy fold
I still cannot sign in anymore. When I do sign in nothing happens and it still says I am not signed in.
