Avoid. Mostly good experience after a rough integration with my smart home ecosystem. Edit: power control only works about 50% of the time for the last few months, and I don't know this until I get home. Further edit: completely unreliable, claims to be off while still maintaining temperature, repeated toggling achieved nothing. In 2026 I have 3 other devices that can do the same things more reliably and have additional features for 20% cost.
App is fine. Automatic detection by remote did not work for me but overall process took few minutes regardless. My problem is that subscription is mandatory for most of features. Some of those features should be basic in my opinion which feels very disappointing hence the poor rating. For example, if you want a widget to control AC from your phone's home you must pay subscription. Many other great options are behind the subscription pay wall even after paying premium for the device itself.
Living in tropical North Queensland it's nice to control the air conditioner from wherever you are and come home to a cool house!! I have also installed a Sensibo onto my shed AC turning it on and off with the set schedule!!

Wow, this app gives me way more functionality than the default handheld remote ever had.
Found a small bug: if I click the Sync button and say my AC was actually off, the consumed Energy need to deduct that from the last state change (currently it keeps it even though it's a mistake). Otherwise app works flawlessly since your Kickstarter campaign
