Metal Detector – Metal Finder

Fixed some bugs

Metal Detector turns your Android phone into a simple tool for detecting nearby metal objects and changes in the surrounding magnetic field. The app uses the magnetic sensor built into your phone to measure magnetic field strength. When a metal object is brought close to your device, the magnetic field reading may increase, helping you locate objects such as screws, nails, wires, pipes, keys, and other magnetic materials. Key Features • Detect nearby magnetic metal objects • View real-time magnetic field readings • Easy-to-read meter and detection indicator • Sound and vibration alerts when the signal increases • Display magnetic field strength in μT • Simple calibration instructions • Clean and easy-to-use interface • Works without additional hardware How to Use Open Metal Detector and move your phone slowly around the area you want to check. Watch the magnetic field reading on the screen. When the value increases significantly, a magnetic metal object may be nearby. Move your phone in different directions to locate the strongest signal. For better results, remove phone cases containing magnets and keep the device away from electronic equipment that may interfere with the sensor. Important Information Metal Detector requires a phone with a built-in magnetic sensor, also known as a magnetometer. If your device does not include this sensor, the detection feature may not work. Detection performance depends on your phone’s sensor quality, the size and material of the object, surrounding electronics, and environmental magnetic interference. The app is mainly suitable for detecting magnetic metals such as iron and steel. It may not reliably detect non-magnetic metals such as gold, silver, copper, or aluminum. Metal Detector is intended as a general utility tool and should not be used for professional construction, electrical, safety, or security inspections.
