People don't bother. it's a pay to play game! the merge generators are unfair especially the ones that generate two different types of ingredients. sometimes you might only have to serve your customers lemon tea but the game is designed in such a way that your generator will continue to generate an unneeded ingredient leading you to waste your energy and also a considerable amount of time. I recommend that you give each generator its own dedicated ingredient or at least make it fair
