In a sea of chat apps, GlamCam is beloved for its "direct selection" approach. We asked the creators directly: "What makes GlamCam different?" Q. Honestly, isn't it just another random chat app? A. Absolutely not! (Firmly) Random chats can be unsettling, not knowing who will show up. GlamCam is different. We're 100% selective. You can visually check the list of currently connected members, review their profiles (photos, ages, and locations), and then chat with only the people you want. Don't leave it to chance; find your match yourself. Q. There's a misconception that video call apps have poor quality or interruptions. A. GlamCam breaks that stereotype. We've implemented FHD-level ultra-high-definition transmission technology. You can vividly experience the other person's expressions and voice as if they were right in front of you. After all, the essence of video chat is "realism." Q. I'm worried about being captured because we're talking face-to-face. A. Don't worry, we have "capture prevention technology." GlamCam's top priority is security. We completely block screen captures and recordings during calls. Since it's an anonymous space with no logs, you can have honest conversations with confidence. Q. What should I do if I suddenly feel awkward or uncomfortable during a call? A. That's why we prepared this. Smart Control is designed with your users in mind! It's not just an app that shows your face. Customize it to suit the situation. Video Control: Suddenly feeling embarrassed or uneasy about showing your room? Hide your screen or hide only the other person's screen. Voice Mode Switching: If you're uncomfortable exposing your face, switch to voice call mode right away during a video chat. Camera Switching: Freely switch between the front and rear cameras to show not only your face but also landscapes or objects. Video Chat: Express your awkward confessions in writing! You can also exchange real-time messages during a video call. Q. Can I only meet Korean friends? A. No, the world is your stage. Don't panic if you're matched with a foreign user. The real-time translation chat feature automatically translates your messages. Enjoy global video chat without language barriers. Q. Who is this app for? A. It's highly recommended for: "People who don't like random matching for fear of getting picked up by strangers." "People who want to make friends in their neighborhood and meet in person." "People who need a drinking buddy to chat with over a beer after work when they're bored." "People who are tired of fake photos on dating apps and want to see real people." Q.
