WHAT THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT · SHARE OF BAD REVIEWS
Wrong or poor results14%

13 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Pretty useless for travelling.
★★★★★ I find that the maps, or locating these places are somewhat outdated or grossly inaccurate.
★★★★★ I used to love this app, but it's useless for some destinations like China.
Bugs, things not working12%

11 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ This app works really well except one huge flaw, it doesn't work with any of the map apps for South Korea.
★★★★★ Trying to search other countries doesn't work and you can't turn off the distance filter.
★★★★★ I've deleted the cookies etc on my computer and the website still doesn't work (it's just blank).
Limits, credits, locked features11%

10 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ they automatically limit restaurants that are not 100% vegan to 4 stars which is wack.
★★★★★ categories are extremely limited and need to be expanded ("pizza" is not even listed and pizza is not Italian).
★★★★★ Zero stars Android version of this app is free but Apple users have to pay premium price.
Price and subscription8%

7 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Additionally, it CONSTANTLY prompts you to buy a subscription, but the most up-to-date restaurant I saw over the last few years of using this application was still out of date by 3 years: before I had picked up the app.
★★★★★ Zero stars Android version of this app is free but Apple users have to pay premium price.
★★★★★ Why not just run ads rather than trying to get a subscription for people who use your app once a year?
Login and account problems8%

7 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ A missed opportunity for vegan and vegetarian travellers since this app does not list any business without a social media account or website, go figure!!
★★★★★ Didn't recognise my Google account, how is that possible on Google play.
★★★★★ Some I can call, & verify, others are out of service.
Too many ads6%

6 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ 👎 👎 👎 👎 Haven't used it in a while, now has ads which it never had before & now charges for filters that were always free.
★★★★★ Ads are always, without fail, worse.
★★★★★ Now it's asking me to pay for the full version again to get rid of the ads.
Worse after an update6%

6 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Update In response to the developer response: make better filters.
★★★★★ Edit: So why does the change log for the latest update say exactly that you're serving ads now?
★★★★★ However, it needs to be seriously updated.
Lost data, sync, backup4%

4 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ I've deleted the cookies etc on my computer and the website still doesn't work (it's just blank).
★★★★★ Smh, this app has definitely lost my interest.
★★★★★ Admired the app until wrote my first review and lost my trust in the rating system.

★★★★★Oct 17, 2026

Le Dolce Vita in Bezair was very accommodating. Made us a vegetarian calzon with fresh side salad. Limoncello spritz. Arranged takeaway because between the 2 of us, we couldn't eat it all. so friendly and open to being flexible.

★★★★★Oct 10, 2026

Too many restrictions on restaurants you can list. Sometimes there is only one restaurant in a town that does a vegan option. This could be the only place to eat for visiting vegans but you are not allowed to list it because the restaurant does not have enough vegan options on the menu or not enough pictures loaded etc. I just gave up trying to add restaurants to the app - too fussy and not real world enough. Just use google or AI and step out of this marketing showcase.

★★★★★Oct 4, 2026

Very helpful for finding restaurants with vegetarian and/or vegan options. It's a lot easier than just a Google search. I use this app often especially, when I want to try new restaurants.

★★★★★Sep 24, 2026

Great for finding vegan friendly restaurants

★★★★★Sep 20, 2026

the best reference for vegan and vegetarian restaurants of the world. thanks

★★★★★Sep 18, 2026

Overrated. The process to add restaurants is difficult, backwards and clearly made by white city folks who don't travel much. A missed opportunity for vegan and vegetarian travellers since this app does not list any business without a social media account or website, go figure!!
