chromecast functionality is suddenly broken on Pixel. I did not change anything and it was working fine yesterday. Now suddenly it does not detect the same tv or chromecast ultra device I've been connecting to all year! I assume it's an update that broke something that was working fine, as usual. 😡

I find it very annoying, that each time I open the app, that I have to select my Google account, instead of just going to the controls page, when my account is the only one on MY phone!

Slow with no offline mode. Recently, it keeps changing from Home and Away activating the respective automations. Even after disabling presence sensing for all devices the issue continued. To "solve" I deleted presence sensing from all automations and made them solely voice activated. I am also not a fan of how Google discontinues features, functionality, and produces. RIP Google Nest Mini; compact wall mountable. I would recommend trying other ecosystems. I will be looking into Home Assistant.

Crashes on startup. Crashes after clearing cache and storage and signing in again. It's a terrible app that we unfortunately must use with Nest, Home, and Chromecast devices.
