subscription ripoff. as if people don't already spend thousands of dollars to get these units installed. you want them to pay for subscription to get proper notifications. way to stay greedy.

Moved in to a new home equipped with an ecobee thermostat and generac standby generator. Was very easy to switch the ecobee thermostat to my own account and after a brief phonecall with Generac was able to transfer the generator to my account as well. Intuitive for the most part. Apps could have more clarity/guidance when assuming control of a previously used set of equipment, but some brief searching online guided me to what/who to do/contact respectively. 24/7 support is great.
