FocusLock: Focus & Phone Lock

No release notes.

Can't stop checking your phone? FocusLock locks your phone during focus sessions so you can concentrate on what truly matters. Other apps just remind you. FocusLock actually locks your device — no cheating, no bypassing, no excuses. Set a timer and start a focus session — or schedule one so your phone locks automatically at the time you choose. Once it begins, your phone stays locked until the timer ends. No willpower needed — the system enforces your focus. 📱 CORE FEATURES • Phone Lock — Completely locks your device during focus sessions • Allowed Apps — Your whole phone locks; only the essentials you choose (calls, messages, study apps) stay open • Scheduled Lock — Set a daily focus time and your phone locks automatically, or get a reminder to start • Screen Time Tracker — Monitor your daily phone usage and reduce screen time • Focus Stats — Track your daily and weekly focus history to see your progress • Shutdown Prevention — Blocks powering off the device to prevent bypassing the lock 🎯 PERFECT FOR • Students preparing for exams who need distraction-free study time • Remote workers and professionals who want deep work sessions • Anyone struggling with phone addiction or excessive screen time • People who want a digital detox from social media and short-form videos • Parents who want to model healthy phone habits ⏱️ HOW IT WORKS 1. Set your desired focus duration 2. Tap Start to lock your phone — or let a scheduled lock start it for you 3. Your phone stays locked until the session is complete — no way to quit early 4. Your focus session is automatically tracked when it ends 💡 WHY FOCUSLOCK? Forest kills your tree if you leave the app, but it doesn't actually lock your phone. Screen time trackers show you reports, but they don't stop you from scrolling. FocusLock physically locks your device. During a session, even powering off is blocked — leaving nothing but real, uninterrupted focus. Stop relying on willpower. Let the system keep you focused. At work, at school, or at home — break free from smartphone addiction with FocusLock. [Permissions] • Accessibility Service: This app uses Android's Accessibility Service to power the following optional focus features. Each feature is off by default and is enabled only when the user explicitly turns it on in Settings: - Device Shutdown Prevention: Detects the system power-off dialog during an active focus lock session and dismisses it, preventing the user from bypassing the lock by powering off the device. - Notification Shade Block: Detects the notification shade window during an active focus lock session and dismisses it to keep the user focused. - Website Blocking: Reads the URL displayed in the address bar of supported browsers during an active focus lock session to block websites the user has chosen to block. - Short-Form Content Block (YouTube Shorts / Instagram Reels): Inspects the on-screen window content during an active focus lock session to detect Shorts/Reels viewers and block them, while other parts of those apps remain usable. The Accessibility Service runs only during active focus lock sessions and only to detect the specific scenarios above. No personal data, screen content, or browsing history is collected, stored, or transmitted off the device.
