XRemote: Universal TV Remote

No release notes.

Turn your phone into a universal TV remote. XRemote controls your smart TV over Wi-Fi — no extra hardware, no IR blaster, no cable. Lost the remote, or just want the buttons where your hands already are? Open the app and you are in control. WORKS WITH YOUR TV • Samsung smart TVs • LG smart TVs (webOS) • Android TV and Google TV • Chromecast and Chromecast built-in • DLNA-compatible TVs and media players Your phone and TV only need to be on the same Wi-Fi network. EVERY BUTTON, ONE SCREEN Power, volume, channels, arrows, OK, Back, Home, Menu and Source — all laid out for one-handed use. Switch between arrow keys, a number pad and a full keyboard whenever you need them. TYPE WITHOUT THE PAIN Searching on a TV with arrow keys is slow. Select a text field on the TV, then type on your phone keyboard and the text appears on screen as you go. Passwords, search terms, Wi-Fi names — done in seconds. CAST YOUR FILES TO THE TV Send videos, photos and music from your phone straight to the big screen. Play, pause, skip and control the volume from the app while you keep using your phone for everything else. MIRROR YOUR SCREEN Show your whole phone screen on the TV — games, apps, photo albums, anything. Turn the phone sideways for full-screen video. TURN THE TV ON FROM YOUR PHONE With one setting enabled on the TV, the Power button wakes it up over Wi-Fi. The app shows you exactly where that setting lives on your TV. MULTIPLE TVS Save more than one TV and switch between the living room and the bedroom with a tap. Already-connected TVs reconnect on their own. SET UP IN TWO STEPS 1. The app scans your Wi-Fi and lists the TVs it finds. 2. Enter the code shown on the TV, or allow the connection with your TV remote. If your TV does not appear in the list, connect manually with its IP address — the app walks you through where to find it in your TV settings. XREMOTE PRO • Number pad, keyboard and multiple saved TVs • Unlimited casting and mirroring • No ads Pro is available as a weekly or annual subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time in Google Play. GOOD TO KNOW XRemote works over Wi-Fi, not infrared. Your phone does not need an IR blaster, but your TV does need to be a smart TV connected to the same network as your phone. Older TVs without network support cannot be controlled. XRemote is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Samsung, LG, Google, Sony, TCL, Hisense or any other TV manufacturer. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
