HOW SURE ARE WE
Lower confidence: this app ranks below the overall top 50 everywhere, where single estimates can be off 2 to 4 times. The range is wide on purpose. Countries we don't track (and Google Play in China, which doesn't exist) aren't included, and neither are ads or web payments. Gross revenue before store fees.

What users say

Latest reviews, United States Google Play.

★★★★★Sep 19, 2026

While scrolling and reading an article, in randomly jumps ahead or takes you back to the home page. It's been an issue on two mobile phones and it's annoying especially since I pay a subscription....it's getting worse

★★★★★Sep 19, 2026

Good app except it now displays Today's Paper in portrait view only. This is a backward step for tablet use.

★★★★★Sep 18, 2026

the latest update has caused the 'Today's Paper's view to only display in portrait mode. I normally download today's paper on my Chromebook when I'm at home and start reading the paper with the keyboard connected, so in landscape mode, but now I can't do that anymore. Most frustrating. I also noticed that it doesn't seem to download the whole paper anymore. I only have WiFi access on my Chromebook, so downloading the paper at home would still let me read the whole paper on the train.

★★★★★Sep 18, 2026

app used to work great. it now ruined our and returns to the home page several times during reading a standard article. it's becoming so frustrating that I think I'll need to cancel my subscription.

★★★★★Sep 11, 2026

Important news source I'm very happy to subscribe to. App does feels tired when compared to say ABC or The Guardian. Overuse of clickbait headlines that suggests a lack of confidence in a story's merits. A pet hate is when swiping back to come out of a story, one is taken several stories up the home page rather than back to the place where you came from.

★★★★★Sep 11, 2026

unstable. quits current article randomly.
