ESET Antivirus Test

New Antivirus Test

THIS APPLICATION IS NOT A VIRUS ESET's Antivirus Test is a simple app containing a file designed, following European Institute for Computer Antivirus Research guidelines, to test the response of antivirus software. It is completely harmless. It has a single function. It tests whether the antivirus software you use detects this particular file as infected! So go ahead. Simply download the app and try to open it. Don’t worry. The test sample should be detected by standard antivirus solutions. But, if your test does fail, then you can be sure your Android device is definitely at risk from infection. At ESET, we are continually tracking how the Android environment is exposed to an increasing variety and frequency of attacks. We care about your complete cybersecurity, so we’re constantly developing effective solutions to existing and new Android threats. If you’d like to find out more about ESET comprehensive protection for your mobile devices, why not download a free trial of our ESET Mobile Security for your smartphones and tablets and/or ESET Smart TV Security for your Smart TV.
