When trying to set up an account, either with phone number or with e-mail, first it tells you something about their servers being "busy" and to "try again later". Then when you try on different days (!) you get a message, that you are trying too often and you still cannot even make an account. My guess is, that their SMS with code doesn't even come through, when you are not inside China or not with Chinese phone number by Chinese provider, and that they never send an e-mail for some reason.

Indeed it's a terrible app..... couldn't even complete my verification process. It has so many restrictions ,that one scanned foto of my passport was the reason to block me permanently........Unacceptable for an app , so essential to travel in China!
