Privacy, Consent, and Accessibility Services LiveLocate's accessibility services are used solely to support parental control features, including reviewing in-app messages and web browsing history on the linked device, with the knowledge and consent of the linked device user. Personal information is not collected or shared without the required permissions. Important: LiveLocate is intended only for transparent, consent-based safety and location-sharing purposes. A linked device must be connected with the knowledge and consent of its user. The app is not designed for secret or unauthorized monitoring. Data is handled in accordance with applicable privacy requirements, including GDPR where relevant. Real-Time Data Synchronization LiveLocate uses a foreground service to support continuous real-time synchronization between connected devices. This helps deliver status updates, live location updates, camera and audio access, data synchronization, safety alerts, and other supported activity data even when a linked device is locked or the app is running in the background. A persistent, non-dismissible notification on the linked device indicates when any foreground service is active. Permissions To support and maintain its core safety features, LiveLocate requires access to location for real-time tracking, camera and microphone for live camera and audio access, and data sync to ensure critical safety events — such as emergency alerts — are delivered to the parent device without delay.
