cards feel very disconnected from each other so strategy feels less rewarding than everdell. game should allow for critters to occupy their unique structures to stack bonuses.

Very cute game. The play card button obscures the text and icons explaining what the cards do. Otherwise it's a pretty, beginner friendly engine builder, similar to wingspan.

never played the board game, first time playing this. I don't recommend this for a phone, the constant having zoom in on cards to read text is annoying. plus, often times, the 'play' button obscure text that tells the effect of the card. I skipped the tutorial and chose easy, The computer beat me first time out, but it was close, so it doesn't seem like the computer is unbeatable, which is a good thing if playing solo. Might be more enjoyable on a tablet.
